Mylavarapu Surya Narayana, fans call him M.S. a lecturer by profession entered into the film industry as a writer before being introduced as an actor in “Punya Bhoomi Naa Desham” in a writer role who irritates people with non-sensical poetry “Gaali Veechunu, Chettlu Pooyunu”. With 700 plus movies in 17 years of his film career as an actor, MS also penned dialogues for 8 films and directed a movie introducing his son Vikram “Koduku”.

Noted for his slapstick comedy MS became famous for his facial expressions in “Sontham” in which he poses for a camera without a roll in it. A drunkard role in “Maa Nannaku Pelli” earned him a Nandi and sought after actor for that kind of roles. His “carry bag comedy” as an aspiring star helped “Dookudu” to become a blockbuster. Be it “Revenge Nageswar Rao” or “Fire Star Salmon Raju” MS Narayana would be remembered for his inimitable, witty style of acting and mastery of comedy. There are many movies in which MS had guest screen appearance for a while and had a whole lot impact like that of “Maadi poyina masala dosa...Jyothilakshmi ...kanipinchi kanipinchanattu” scene from “Athadu”.

M.S.Narayana won five Nandi awards for the Best male comedian for the films Maa Nanna ki Pelli, Ramskkanodu, Sardukupodam Randi, Sivamani and Dookudu and Filmfare Awards South for Best Supporting Actor for Dookudu.

M.S. Narayana breathed his last on this day in 2015. He will be alive in all laughing faces. Movietonite prays almighty for his soul to rest in peace.
